Dallas Greendrinks and Net Impact DFW will team up with Carrotmob to bring an estimated 300 eco-conscious people together to �mob� LaGrange, a downtown favorite, in a fun event that will help make our state more green. In exchange, La Grange has pledged a generous percentage (81.5%) of the gross receipts received on the Big Day towards energy efficiency improvements at its place of business. Although Carrotmobs have been instituted in a number of cities globally, including San Francisco, New York, Munich, Toronto, London, and Paris, this is the first-ever Texas Carrotmob. The event will be held on 13 October from 5 pm until midnight and is anchored to the larger TEDxSMU Idea Week. Eco-conscious customers are asked to come to the event, hear a great local band, purchase food from the restaurant�s menu, have a drink and partake in the fun and the spectacle, while helping increase the restaurant�s bottom line for a social cause.
