DFW International Community Alliance invites individuals and organizations to share their global arts, cultures, games, and traditions in WorldFest
October 25, 2008
Addison Circle Park (under the Addison water tower, see map) 12 noon to 10 pm

• GLOBAL FOOD COURT
• MUSIC and DANCE PERFORMANCES
• COMMUNITY and CULTURAL BOOTHS
• MARKETPLACE (arts and crafts, jewelry, etc)
• UNITY GARDEN (global faiths and organizations)
• GLOBAL GAMES workshops in a traditional global sport - rugby, bocce, pétanque, tavli, carrom, three-legged races, mancala, backgammon, etc.
• CHILDREN's WORKSHOPS crafts from Japan (origami), Kenya (face painting), Arab States (mosaics), Bolivia (flute making), Thailand (stone rubbing), Ghana (mask), Turkey (evil eye jewelry), Egypt (gold necklace), etc.
• VOLUNTEERS Individuals & Groups needed to assist in Children's Workshops, Global Games, Information booths, and other areas.
