DFW International Community Alliance invites individuals and organizations to share their global arts, cultures, games, and traditions in    WorldFest
    October 25, 2008
   Addison Circle Park
   12 noon to 10 pm

We're currently accepting applications for
• FOOD COURT: Global Food Court Application
• MUSIC and DANCE PERFORMANCES: Artist Application
• COMMUNITY and CULTURAL BOOTHS: Application
• MARKETPLACE (clothing, arts and crafts, jewelry, etc) : Application for Vendors

Or, share your traditions through either of the following two projects. Participation forms will be ready later this week.
• GLOBAL GAMES: teach an hour-long workshop in your traditional global sport - rugby, baghammon, bocce, pétanque, tavli, carrom, three-legged races, mancala, backgammon, etc.
• CHILDREN's WORKSHOPS: share a craft from Japan- origami; Kenya- face painting; Arab States- mosaics; Bolivia- flute making; Thailand- stone rubbing; Ghana- mask making; Turkey- evil eye jewelry; Egypt- gold necklace, etc etc.
