This stunning raw silk thob from Hama features silver tinsel yarn embroidery over the geometric plangi (tye-died) patterns. The neck is not embroidered beause an overlayed embroidered and fringed collar was sometimes worn with this garment.

Designs include the birds (for good luck and good news) as well as the trees of life growing atop the mountains.
