DFW International Community Alliance has announced that Lowe's Companies, Inc. will be a presenting sponsor of the 6th annual Fiesta Latinoamericana!

Fiesta Latinoamericana! is Dallas’ only cultural festival of the Americas and will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 in the Dallas Arts District. Fiesta Latinoamericana! is produced in partnership with the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the Guadalupe Cathedral. The free family event takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Flora Street between Pearl and Jack Evans.

As part of the sponsorship, Lowe’s will share its exciting La Experiencia Lowe's™, an interactive area where participants can play games, win prizes, and register to receive updates from Lowe's.

The experience will be one of the highlights in the festival that offers five stages of music and dance, plus interactive and hands-on activities for the entire family that revive vibrant artistic traditions. Built around the motif of a traditional plaza‚ Fiesta features strolling musicians, indigenous dancers and drummers, clowns and balloon vendors, food carts, a Latino Cuisine Pavilion, Tortilleria and Piñata workshops, Parade of Nations, Children’s Activities Tent, a Principe y Princesa Competition, Cocina de la Abuela, Afro-Latino Drum Circle and sixty performing arts groups.
