Lowe's to be a Presenting Sponsor of the 5th Annual

David Harlan, regional vice president of Lowe’s announces that Lowe's will be a presenting sponsor of the 5th annual Fiesta Latinoamericana! sharing its exciting La Cancha soccer game.  Fiesta Latinoamericana! is Dallas’ only cultural festival of the Americas and will be held on Sunday Oct 9, 2011 in the Dallas Arts District. Fiesta Latinoamericana is produced in partnership with the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the Guadalupe Cathedral.  The free family event take place 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Flora Street between Pearl and Routh. 

The Lowe's soccer fan experience, La Cancha Lowe's, will be one of the highlights in a festival that offers three stages of music and dance, plus interactive and hands-on activities for the entire family that revive vibrant artistic traditions.   Built around the motif of a traditional plaza‚ Fiesta features strolling musicians, indigenous dancers and drummers, clowns and balloon vendors, food carts, a Dance Pavilion, Tortilleria and Piñata workshops, Parade of Nations, Children’s Activities Tent, a Principe y Princesa Competition, and sixty performing arts groups on three stages.

Lowe’s is dedicated to being a partner within the Hispanic community in Dallas-Fort Worth and all across the country,” said David Harlan, Lowe’s regional vice president.   “From sponsoring local events like Fiesta Latinoamericana, to providing local college students with scholarships through Lowe’s partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Lowe’s is and will continue to be an active supporter of the Hispanic community in Dallas.”
