The Dallas International Festival is a free family event that will be held along Flora Street from Pearl to Routh in the Dallas Art District (2403 Flora, Dallas TX 75201) on Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 10 am to 7 pm. The Honorary Chair for the Dallas International Festival is Dallas councilwoman Ann Margolin, Chair of the city's Arts, Culture & Libraries Committee.

The festival was last organized in 2006 and the new Arts District event will feature three global stages of music and dance, with performances by dozens of exceptional local artists - plus some international guests - who represent the new face of north Texas. The Dallas International Festival will include Children's Workshops, an International Marketplace, a Passport to International Dallas plus interactive activitiies for the entire family. The festival will also present a Parade of Nations that includes more than 80 flags, each representing a major New American culture in the DFW metroplex.

DFW International Community Alliance is the portal for global North Texas, a network of 1,600 of the regions ethnic and internationally-focused civic, community and educational organizations.
